My role is to ensure what we build and how we operate is going to solve the real problems faced by Physicians and the technical team through working closely with our partners,  customers and key opinion leaders.

I’m passionate about democratizing healthcare. I want my work to ensure technical and cost barriers don’t translate to worse outcomes for patients in Radiation Oncology. It’s a complex industry and sometimes that complexity creates barriers to care. Through technology, I want to break down those barriers.

That’s easy. A group of people that’s emotionally connected to a social mission. That creates culture and from there, great things happen.

I’m learning more about how we embrace AI in healthcare. It’s a conservative industry for valid reasons. I think we need to embrace AI and learn how it can complement how we work and learn lessons from other industries. I think ignoring it will be a mistake.

Understand what problem you’re trying to solve. Technology is great but it has to be operationalized which is always a challenge in Healthcare. You need to listen carefully to problems and find the root cause. Once that’s clear, it’s about how things can be implemented in an analytical way with clear messaging to the clinical teams.

I am obsessed with golf. Outside work and family life, I try to hit the course as much as I can.

I’m super proud of our group at Lumonus, how we work together and have fun as a team. It’s so important to maintain the right work/family/fun balance and our team does this well. Having a solid foundation means we’re focused on the right things.
